About UsBecome a Student | Become a Tutor

Literacy Volunteers of Santa Fe’s (LVSF) mission is to provide free tutoring to adults in reading, writing and speaking English to strengthen our community, families, and workforce. We are here to help you learn to read or learn to speak, read, and write in English.

We are located at Santa Fe Community College in Room 514A near Adult Basic Education.

LVSF was established in 1985 to provide free, quality tutoring services to adults seeking to improve their basic reading skills or to learn English as a Second Language. Since then, more than 3,600 trained tutors have provided close to 414,000 hours of instruction to over 10,800 adults throughout Santa Fe County. This represents volunteer contributions equivalent to $8.8 million.
