During the upcoming Nov. 3 election, voters will have an opportunity to vote on General Obligation Bond C for Higher Education and Bond B for Academic Libraries.
“These Bonds will not raise property taxes,” said SFCC President Becky Rowley, Ph.D. “The outcome could greatly impact Santa Fe Community College, our state’s economy and the future of students throughout the state.”
Bond C
If passed, $2 Million for safer, more improved learning environments at SFCC
If passed, SFCC will receive $2 million for asset protection, including fire suppression systems, stucco, and fencing.

If passed, $36,848 Bond B funds will help the SFCC Library help students succeed:
• The bond is critically important to the SFCC library. The funds will pay for almost all of SFCC’s EBSCO research databases, and supports the costs of the library’s book purchases and electronic resources.
Important election dates:
• Absentee Voting: Oct. 6–31
• Early Voting: Oct. 17–31
• Election Day: Tues., Nov. 3.
