SFCC Services unavailable during Convocation welcome and keynote address by Gloria Ladson-Billings. Ph.D., on August 13

SFCC and SFHEC services are unavailable from 8:30 to 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 13.  

Santa Fe Community College’s services including front desk reception, academic advising, registration assistance and the cashier’s office will not be available due to a campuswide staff and faculty meetings from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Aug. 13. All SFCC and HEC buildings are closed to the public due to COVID-19 restrictions.  Services outside of the hours indicated continue via email, phone and virtual platforms.  Fall registration continues 24/7 at sfcc.edu.

SFCC’s Kids Campus is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 13, but is limited to those who have pre-registered and are following strict protocols.  Santa Fe Higher Education Center’s building, 1950 Siringo Road, remains closedThe Santa Fe HEC staff will be available via phone (505-428-1725) or email (HEC@sfcc.edu) after noon on Aug. 13.

SFCC has invited all faculty, staff and students to virtually participate in the Convocation keynote speech from 11 a.m. to noon Aug. 13 by Gloria Ladson-Billings, Ph.D. She is a global thought-leader and renowned scholar in the field of education and equality within the education system. Read her bio here. The talk will be video streamed on SFCC’s official YouTube Channel starting at 11 a.m. Aug. 13.
