The Santa Fe Higher Education Center (SFHEC) will host an Open House from 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 6 at the campus, 1950 Siringo Road. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
Meet with faculty and academic advisers from Northern New Mexico College (NNMC), New Mexico Highlands University (NMHU), University of New Mexico (UNM) and Santa Fe Community College. The SFHEC brings all partner universities under one roof to offer complete programs via in-class and online courses.
The Santa Fe Small Business Development Center, which is also located at the SFHEC, will welcome visitors as well.
Advisers from the institutions will be available to answer questions. Representatives of SFCC will talk about how to get started at the community college, then transfer to one of the universities at the Center. Completing a higher education degree in this way typically saves students $10,000 or more in tuition.
