Career and Transfer Services (CTS) provides support for students and community members seeking to find employment, explore careers, develop job-seeking skills, and transfer to 4-year institutions to continue their education. In the CTS Corner, students can access information related to career and transfer topics through Career and Transfer events and CTS Series workshops – monthly workshops related to career and transfer topics.

LinkedIn Lunch & Learn – April 10th and 11th, May 1st

Career Fair – Wednesday, April 24th

Transfer School Tabling

Representatives from 4-year institutions are available on SFCC campus to speak to SFCC students about their institution, their programs, and the transfer process. If you are interested in pursuing a 4-year degree, come visit these tables set up in the West Wing outside of the Student Affairs office.

CTS Workshop Series

Each month, Career and Transfer Services will host its CTS Series, workshops related to career and transfer topics. Join us to gain more skills and knowledge related to employment and transferring to a 4-year institution. March’s CTS Series will be the Pre-Transfer Fair Workshop and the Career and Major Exploration Workshop series hosted by SFCC’s Career and Transfer Advisor and Exploratory Academic Advisors.

SFCC’s Career and Transfer Advisor Katie Studer and Academic Advisor Julia Gonzales will be hosting a hybrid Résumé Workshop on Wednesday, April 17th, 12:00-1:00 to support students in preparing a résumé to share with employers and providing résumé feedback.
