Santa Fe Community College Hosts I-BEST Information Sessions Thursday, June 21 and Tuesday, June 26

What: Integrated Basic Education and Skills Training (I-BEST) information sessions.
Prepare for a career by acquiring the skills necessary to do the job, while working on a High School Equivalency (HSE) or improving reading, writing and math skills. Program includes support services: individual academic and career advising, financial aid guidance, resume and interview skills development, job fairs and employer networking opportunities and job placement support.

Who: Community members seeking to improve academic and job skills while earning a certificate. Programs beginning in the fall include Early Childhood Education, Certified Nursing Assistant, Hospitality and Tourism and Community Health Worker.

When: Thursday, June 21, 1:30 p.m., Room 515
Tuesday, June 26, 5:30 p.m., Room LL304, West Wing

Where: Santa Fe Community College, 6401 Richards Ave.

Cost: Free event.

Of note: These sessions will provide information on the I-BEST programs available starting fall 2018. The application process and financial assistance planning will also be covered.
