Saturday, March 11th, 10-11:15 am: Explora Growing a Scientist: Rock Stars

Location: SFCC Health Sciences Building, Room 487

In this fun science activity specifically designed for young children and their parent/caregiver, we will examine a variety of rocks and crystals, use a magnifying loupes to make up close observations, experiment to find if any of the rocks roll or fizz or float, and make your own rock prints. Children’s snacks will be provided at the end of the session. Recommended for ages 2-6. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
