DeafTEC-Austin Community College will be offering a Writing in the Disciplines Workshop (9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with lunch provided) and a Math Workshop (1 to 5 p.m.) Saturday, April 28 in Room 487.
Writing in the Disciplines: A workshop designed to provide STEM faculty at both the secondary and post secondary levels with strategies for including a variety of writing activities in their courses. Read more.
Math Workshop: A workshop that provides math teachers at both the secondary and post-secondary levels with examples of best practices for math instruction. Read more.
Who should attend? SFCC faculty members and SFPS/SFIS dual credit faculty members in math and STEM related programs. A stipend of $125 per workshop will be paid to attendees who qualify.
