The tax statement is based on the calendar year January 1 through December 31 and not by term.
1098T Student Tuition Tax Statements are mailed out by the end January for the previous year. If you have opted out of a paper copy at any time you have been at SFCC, you will receive an electronic copy. If you did not opt out for a paper copy you will be sent a statement in the mail to the address we have on file, and also receive an electronic copy to download and print in your student portal. You will receive an email at your SFCC email when it is available and instruction on how to view it through MY.SFCC http://www.my.sfcc.edu
“IMPORTANT INFORMATION BELOW”
Tax forms will not be generated for the following reasons (including electronic copies)
- Missing Address
- Missing Social Security Number
- Social Security Numbers/TIN starting with 7, 8 or 9**
- Any student that is considered a Withdrawn Student by the Registrar’s Office
- Any student that has taken non-credit classes (CE or audit) unless paid by a third party
**SSN/TIN that start with 7, 8, or 9, these must be requested by the student with an email to cashiers@sfcc.edu from their SFCC email address. We will not accept request from emails outside of SFCC.
