The Testing Center (Room 611) renovations are scheduled to begin during the week of August 27-31, and are scheduled to take about a month. Throughout the renovation period, the Testing Center will administer walk-in tests such as Accuplacer and class make-up tests, HiSET and CLEP in Room 611A. There may be some construction noise and dust, but the center will have earplugs for you!
The Testing Center will close for a for a few hours on several dates in order to accommodate previously scheduled group tests. The dates and times are:
Thursday, 9/6 closed from 12:30 – 3:00
Tuesday, 9/11 closed from 8:30 – 10:30
Thursday, 9/13 closed from 9:45 – 12:00
Wednesday, 9/19 closed from 12:30 – 3:00
Thursday, 9/20 closed from 12:30 – 3:00
Tuesday, 9/25 closed from 8:30 – 10:30
Thursday 9/27 closed from 12:30 – 3:00
In addition, during renovation, the Testing Center will not be able to offer Pearson Vue tests (those include GED, NES and EMT tests) for about four weeks. When the renovated Testing Center reopens in October, it will offer enhanced capabilities, including additional seating and new computers in room 611C.
