SFCC and the Santa Fe HEC to close in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Jan. 15

Registration encouraged before holiday weekend
William C. Witter Fitness Education Center reopens with extended hours

Santa Fe Community College and the Santa Fe Higher Education Center will be closed on Monday, January 15, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. No classes or activities will be held and no other student services will be available. The college’s childcare center, Kids Campus, and gym, the William C. Witter Fitness Education Center, also will be closed. Both campuses will reopen on Tuesday, January 16, which is the first day of classes for the SFCC spring semester.

The William C. Witter Fitness Education Center will reopen at 6:30 a.m. January 16, beginning its new hours for 2024. The fitness center will now be open Mon.-Thurs. 6:30 a.m.-8 p.m., Friday 6:30 a.m.-7 p.m., and Saturday 8 a.m.-3 p.m. The pool opens on the same schedule and closes at 7 p.m. Mon.-Fri. and at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The fitness center is closed on Sundays.
