Located on the campus of the Santa Fe Community College, the Kids Campus at the Early Childhood Center of Excellence works year-round to support early childhood development in a positive and nurturing learning environment. Our goal is to honor each child and his or her family by working with them as partners to create an enriching setting for the children. We are committed to the diverse population of our center and the community, and respect and respond to the needs of each family.
Children develop by exploring their environment, making discoveries, asking questions and forming ideas about the world around them. Kids Campus serves children 8 weeks to 5 years old. Parents or guardians do not need to be associated with the Santa Fe Community College to enroll their children in Kids Campus.
Our core hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Extended care is available from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., and from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. for an additional $4/hour.
Kids Campus is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and maintains a Five-Star license with the New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department.
The Early Childhood Center of Excellence (ECCOE) is dedicated to enhancing all aspects of early childhood in our community by accomplishing the following:
- Demonstrating and replicating high quality early childhood services through Kids Campus
- Supporting new and existing early childhood businesses to function at the highest quality with sustainable business models
- Advocating for policies and funding to support the sector and invest in our children and their early childhood development.
