¡Palabra!: Intersectionality

Intersectionality examines how different forms of oppression work together. Each person has multiple identities stemming from relationships, history, geographical location, and power structures that allow individuals to experience both oppression and privilege simultaneously.

Intersectionality suggests that in order to create a truly fair society, all forms of oppression must be dismantled.
