SFCC will be closed on Monday, October 14 in observance of Indigenous Peoples Day. No classes or services will be available, and will resume on Tuesday, October 15.

Diversity Day

SFCC will celebrate Diversity Day from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 26 in the Campus Center. The event is presented by the President’s Diversity Advisory Committee. The public is invited to stop by tables where SFCC faculty, staff and invited guests will look at diversity through a variety of lenses.
There will be informational booths and fun activities. Free food will be provided [Thanks to Student Activities]. Attendees will have the option to purchase items too at some booths.
We encourage you to wear clothing that reflects your heritage. If you don’t have clothing that reflects your heritage, please come anyway.
Faculty are advised to bring their classes and visit each booth and consider giving credits to the students. Diversity and Inclusion/ Cultural Competence is part of curriculum.
