When to Register for Summer 2012

Summer 2012 priority registration begins at 8:30 am on Monday, April 16.

When to Register for Fall 2012

Fall 2012 priority registration begins at 8:30 am on Monday, April 23.

For the Summer and Fall semesters, Santa Fe Community College will operate registration on a priority scheduling basis. New Mexico residents may register during the first period, opening April 16. Students who reside outside of New Mexico may register during the second period, as indicated below:

Summer Open Registration for all students:
Summer 2012 open registration begins on June 1, 2012

Fall Open Registration for all students:
Fall 2012 open registration begins on Aug. 17, 2012

This policy helps SFCC strengthen its role as a community college, serving New Mexico and district taxpayers who support campus operations through payment of local taxes.

In an effort to further improve service to students and ensure that staff are available to assist, if problems should occur, the start time for Summer 2012 registration will be 8:30 am, rather than midnight. This is being done for several reasons, which include:

ESS, OIT, Records, and other key staff would all be available and ready to assist students at this time
Staff schedules can be coordinated to have additional assistance during the first few hours of registration and make sure that students get assistance, if needed
If a student has difficulty with pre-requisites or things preventing him/her from registering, we would be fully staffed to assist the student—unlike the midnight start time

Semester begins Monday, Aug. 20
	April 23 and Aug 1	4:30 pm, Wed., Aug. 1
	Aug. 2 and Aug. 15	4:30 pm, Wed., Aug 15
Open registration begins for all	Aug 17 or after	4:30 pm, Wed., Aug 29

Deadlines are listed above. Be sure to pay promptly or make arrangements to pay through the deferred payment plan, financial aid, or third party sponsor to keep your classes for the upcoming semester. By visiting the Cashiers Office Web page, you can pay your tuition by one of the following methods:

Pay ONLINE ANYTIME by credit card, debit card, or electronic checks from your checking or savings account. For students, log on to Jack, click “Registration” tab, click “Pay Online”. For parents and other authorized users, visit www.sfcc.edu/cashier and follow the instructions.
Pay in person using cash, check or credit card, at the cashier’s window in the main hallway.
Mail your payment to SFCC Cashier's Office, 6401 Richards Ave, Santa Fe, NM 87508-4887
When paying with financial aid, make sure to complete all your financial assistance paperwork early at the Financial Aid Office.
