About the Program
If the world of finance beckons, then a career in accounting could add up to your success. A Santa Fe Community College degree in accounting will prepare the graduate for a bachelor's degree program and is a good foundation for a career in almost any field. The courses in the degree program at Santa Fe Community College are patterned after the lower-division courses at universities so you'll get the required general education courses, plus some basic accounting classes in financial accounting principles, federal and state income tax preparation, payroll accounting, financial and investment analysis, tax accounting and more.
