The mission of the EnergySmart Academy at Santa Fe Community College (SFCC) is to offer students high-quality, consistent energy efficiency and green jobs professional training throughout New Mexico; reduce energy and water use, and greenhouse gas emissions; and engage with our local community and the greater professional industry.

All four of our core weatherization programs are IREC accredited. 

With our state-of-the-art lab, mobile field rig and network of nationally recognized trainers, The training we do benefits industry professionals, residents and business owners in our state.

Join the new green jobs economy. We train energy auditors, installers, inspectors, infrared thermographers, architects, contractors and more.

ESA is a BPI Test Center,  and also offers EPA Lead RRP and OSHA trainings.

Our lab includes a full-size pressure cabin, combustion training lab and many hands-on props. We have a mobile training unit to support field trainings. Most classes include both lab and field work.
