New Mexico Energy$mart Academy
Join the new green jobs economy! NME$A offers comprehensive trainings in all aspects of energy efficiency and residential weatherization. We train energy auditors, installers, inspectors, infrared thermographers and more. NME$A also offers supporting trainings that conform to EPA and OSHA requirements for health and safety, such as lead, asbestos and other hazardous materials and various OSHA classes. We also train for the National Center for Healthy Housing.
Our state-of-the-art lab includes a full-size pressure cabin, combustion training lab, attic demonstration unit, attic air sealing props, House of Pressure and insulation training wall. We have a mobile training unit to support in the field trainings. Most classes include extensive hands-on training both in the lab and in the field.

If you have never been a student at SFCC before, you must apply to SFCC and complete an ADMISSION FORM before you register for classes.
