New Mexico EnergySmart Academy

NME$A offers you high quality, consistent energy efficiency and green jobs training throughout NM with our state-of-the-art lab, mobile field rig and network of nationally recognized trainers. The training we do benefits industry professionals, residents and business owners in our state. 

Join the new green jobs economy. We train energy auditors, installers, inspectors, infrared thermographers, architects, contractors and more.

NME$A is a BPI Test Center,  a RESNET training provider and also offers EPA Lead RRP and OSHA trainings. We also train for the National Center for Healthy Housing.

Our lab includes a full-size pressure cabin, combustion training lab and many hands-on props. We have a mobile training unit to support field trainings. Most classes include both lab and field work.

Our nationally recognized network of trainers include Rick Karg, Cal Steiner, Bill Rose, Steve Nall and Tom Andrews.

Registration:

If you have never been a student at SFCC before, you must apply to SFCC and complete an ADMISSION FORM before you register for classes.
