Santa Fe Community College and the faculty union, known as SFCC-AAUP (American Association of University Professors), have come to an agreement on collective bargaining. SFCC-AAUP members ratified the contract in a mid-May vote and members of the SFCC Governing Board approved the agreement during a May 22 meeting.
“This is a positive outcome for the college and its labor relations negotiation process,” said Linda Siegle, chair of the SFCC Governing Board. “I’m grateful to the members of the college who dedicated time and effort toward reaching this agreement in good faith. The college looks forward to continuing to serve our students and community with high-quality higher education.”
