A message from Aamna Nayyar, Director Department of Dental Health, and member of SFCC’s PDAC:

“[I’m] sharing with you the book that I co-authored/compiled. The book is about religious tolerance and hopefully, it will be my small contribution toward world peace. Amen.”

From book description on Amazon.com:

Three paths, One God. Jewish, Christian, Muslim. Scripture, liturgy, and contemporary prayer. Three women, each following her faith, praying and seeking, marking times of our days, celebrating the unfolding of our lives, pursuing sacred paths toward God. Thus, this book!

As active practitioners of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, the authors recognize the power of religious belief and practice in our lives.

Nursing Pinning Fall 2019

The Fall 2019 Nursing Pinning Ceremony was held on December 4, 2019.

“This evening I had the honor of pinning one of our international students, Emmanuel, during SFCC’s Nursing Pinning Ceremony. This is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful and intimate events that occurs on our campus, celebrating the hard work and dedication of these students. I was both honored and humbled that Emmanuel chose me to be part of this special moment. It was a beautiful reminder of why I do what I do ❤️” – Danielle Gonzales, Interim TRiO Director
