Gloria Ladson-Billings, Ph.D. to keynote convocation
SFCC has invited all faculty, staff and students to virtually participate in the Convocation keynote speech from 11 a.m. to noon, Thursday August 13 by Gloria Ladson-Billing. She is a global thought-leader and renowned scholar in the field of education and equality within the education system. Read her bio here.
The talk will be video streamed on SFCC’s official YouTube Channel starting at 11 a.m. The video will be available for replay shortly after the talk. A question and answer session will take place after the presentation. Follow-up breakout sessions with sj Miller and Valerie Nye begin at noon.
