Deadline: Monday, MARCH 6 at noon

Winners, runners-up, and honorable mentions will be published and will be invited to read at the celebration, to be held Thursday, April 27, 6 PM, at Collected Works Bookstore. Winners and runners-up will be considered for the SFCC Foundation Richard Bradford Memorial Creative Writing Scholarship. Applicants must be enrolled in at least three credits to enter. Questions? Submit entries as Microsoft Word attachments, single-spaced. Five page maximum per entry, please. There’s no limit on the number of entries or number of categories.

Please remove any identifying information from the entry itself.

In the body of the email, please include your name, the title and category of your entry, and your email address and phone number. Receipt of entry will be acknowledged by email. We’ll email results in April.

Judging will be based on the power of the piece of writing as a work of art: intense images, vivid language, original ideas, and polished presentation.

Irrigation Repair

Santa Fe Community College will be repairing irrigation lines at the central roundabout (the drop-off area by the flag poles) Monday, April 23 through Monday, April 30. During repairs, the roundabout will not be accessible. Please use other entrances into the main and West Wing parking lots. No parking areas will be affected. Please use caution when walking or driving in the vicinity. Thank you for your patience while we make improvements to campus.
