“During this time, the biggest challenge for me has been the adjustment of balancing my work life with my school life and my student government life. I feel like they’ve all been crushed together, and I’ve had to figure out how to do my homework, my student government life, my work life, and when I can make a meal during the day. I live with my mother; she teaches group fitness but she’s not working right now. It’s been a challenge with her being at home and the background noise when I’m having a board meeting in my room, or a meeting planning the care package distribution for our students. It’s been a task for me to sit down and get through what I need to do.”
