SFCC Chefs Jerry Dakan and Patrick Mares volunteered for this year’s Greater Santa Fe Restaurant Association’s (GSFRA) 4th Annual Chef Gala held at the Drury Hotel in April. SFCC students Emma Keener and Josh Rodriguez worked alongside some of the most accomplished chefs of Santa Fe: Chef Sllin Cruz from Geronimo, Chef Kai Autenrieth from Terra at the Four Seasons Resort, Chef Fernando Olea of Sazón Restaurant, Chef John Sedlar from Eloisa. SFCC was in charge of the passed appetizer course this year.
GSFRA awarded $10,000 to the SFCC Culinary Arts Scholarship Fund through the SFCC Foundation.
The annual gala is the capstone event for the GSFRAS. They raise money for the GSFRAS Culinary Fund.
