SFCC celebrates Halloween Oct. 31 2019

SFCC's costume contest brought out a mix of scary and funny costumes worn by students and staff.

Carpathian Coven (aka Marketing & MPR) won the costume prize for best group.

Matthew Sisneros who is studying Biological Sciences (student worker in Dental Dept.) and Destiny Montoya from Dental Assisting prepare to hand out toothpaste for all the kids getting candy!

Kids and parents were lining up before 3:30 p.m. eager to participate in SFCC's safe Trick or Treats event.

Kids and parents streamed into Safe Trick or Treating. Even Security was busy handing out candy.

Thanks to SFCC’s  Office of Student Development for a fun and safe Halloween event. Also, thanks to the students, faculty and staff who worked so hard to make this a thrilling event!

The excitement began with Kids Campus who brought over all the superheroes. The kids had fun dancing to the Monster Mash and other fun Halloween songs. Wonder Woman (aka Thomasinia Ortiz-Gallegos) welcomed all the youngsters and asked how many want to be superheroes that go to college. Check out some of the fun photos from Facebook.

At 3:30 p.m. the college opened its doors to hundreds of parents and kids who came to participate in Safe Trick or Treating at SFCC.
