SFCC’s Web Design and Social Media program offers multiple streams of learning to meet your needs.
The Web Design with Code Certificate focuses on the languages of the web: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You will also learn UX/UI web layout design and website management while exploring topics in digital graphic design and print design.
Through the the Web Design with Social Media Certificate students can learn basic skills in utilizing the WordPress web content management system. The program provides comprehensive courses that help you learn current web design best practices, and create a social media presence in order to support new or existing businesses, media projects, personal portfolios, blogs or external customers marketing and communications needs.
All certificates are available as a stand-alone or as part of an AAS degree. Students interested in pursuing web design and development from a more technical side should explore the Web Development Certificate offered through SFCC’s Information Systems & Computer Science program.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment for graphic designers is expected to grow 3% annually and graphic designers earn an annual median salary of $50,710.
