Sustainable Technologies
Enrolling in SFCC’s sustainable technologies program will enable you to gain an in-depth understanding of issues regarding sustainability, renewable energy, water treatment and water conservation. Through your chosen concentration, you’ll learn how to design and install sustainable systems, and to recognize wasteful practices and recommend sustainable alternatives. Upon completion of the program you could work as a biofuels technician, a solar thermal technician or in a number of other related jobs in this field.
Biofuels technicians earn an annual median salary of $46,842 and solar thermal technicians earn, on average, $42,542 a year.
