Special SFCC Midtown Campus Registration Fair from 1 to 6 p.m. Jan. 16 at Santa Fe Higher Education Center

Sign up for SFCC classes at convenient Midtown location

Santa Fe Community College will offer a special one-day  Midtown Campus Registration Fair from 1 to 6 p.m. Jan. 16 at the Santa Fe Higher Education Center, 1950 Siringo Road. SFCC staff will be on hand to help people sign up for spring classes, which begin on Jan. 21.  Prospective students should bring along a photo I.D. to start the process.

“We wanted to offer a convenient place where people can make a quick trip from work or other obligations to stop by and sign-up for classes. The college offers many evening, weekend and online classes in addition to daytime classes,” SFCC Associate Vice President for Student Success Thomasinia Ortiz-Gallegos said.

The special event will offer one-stop shopping for anyone who wants to register.  Often people know they want to go to college, but don’t know where to start.  Academic advisors will be there to assist everyone through the process.

For those not sure about how to pay for college there will be financial aid and scholarship advising available.  To apply for financial aid on the spot, bring:

  • Social Security number
  • 2018 tax return (student and parents, if applicable)
  • FSA ID (if available).

Pre-registration is not required to attend, but those who contact SFCC in advance will be entered into a drawing to win a gift card courtesy of Santa Fe Community College Foundation.  Express your interest at https://www.sfcc.edu/midtown/ or call 505-428-1667.
