Faculty and Staff Exhibition opening from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Oct. 6
Exhibition continues through Jan. 13 on campus, 6401 Richards Ave.

Santa Fe Community College’s Visual Arts Gallery announces the School of Arts, Design and Media Arts Faculty and Staff Exhibition opening from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Oct. 6. Masks are required to attend the opening and/or to visit the exhibition, which continues through January 13, 2022.

Director of Art on Campus Linda Cassel said, “This exhibition will showcase a good cross-section of the tremendous artwork produced by SFCC’s Arts, Design and Media Arts talented faculty and staff.  It’s really a terrific selection of artwork ranging from incredible woodworking furniture pieces to digital art. This show will give people an opportunity to see the types of art taught at the college.”

More than 35 artists will showcase some of the best examples from these School of Arts, Design and Media Arts programs: Ceramics, Drawing and Painting, Film, Fine Arts,  Fine Woodworking, Jewelry and Metal Arts, Media Arts, Photography, Printmaking and Book Arts and Sculpture.

SFCC has outstanding fine art, design, and media art studios. The faculty and staff are recognized artists both locally and on the national level.

The SFCC Visual Arts Gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday.  The public is welcome to visit but must wear a mask while on SFCC’s campus.
