SFCC Registration for Spring Semester Begins November 8

Santa Fe Community College begins spring registration on Tues., Nov 8. Considering college? You don’t have to wait until the fall. Meet with an academic adviser now to learn about the many degrees and certificates available and begin in the spring of 2017. Contact SFCC’s Welcome and Advising Center at 428-1270 or wac@sfcc.edu to set up an appointment with an adviser. In addition to two-year associate degrees, SFCC offers many certificates that can be completed in under two years. For instance, a Certificate in Biofuels gives students the skills to work in the non-food source biofuels industry.

A Certificate in Facility Technologies provides students with skills to begin or advance a career in facilities maintenance with as few as 18 credit hours. Have a great idea for a small business? A Certificate in Entrepreneurship will get you heading in the right direction. This certificate program provides potential entrepreneurs with hands-on experience, from planning a new start-up, to concept identification and a pitch of the proposed venture to potential investors. SFCC invites interested students to take a tour, find out about financial aid and learn about a multitude of student support services available. To schedule a tour, contact Marcos Maez at 505-428-1779 or marcos.maez@sfcc.edu. SFCC also offers support for veterans returning to school
