Description:  Janie Chodosh spent three weeks in Assam, India with conservationist and elephant doctor, Dr. KK Sarma. Her book, “The Elephant Doctor of India” explores his work in saving and protecting elephants, how the largest tea growing region in the world affects these magnificent creatures, and the ecology of the elephants. She will show slides and read from her new book.

Bios/Additional Facts:  Janie Chodosh is the author of four books and has worked extensively in the field of environmental education. She is an SFCC instructor in the biology department.
