SFCC Continuing Education partners with The Grantsmanship Center to offer online program

The five-day Grantsmanship Training Program runs August 10-14, early bird registration due by July 20

Santa Fe Community College’s Continuing Education Department is partnering with The Grantsmanship Center to present the Grantsmanship Training Program Online August 10-14. Since most nonprofit organizations are working remotely and need more funding than ever, this online course addresses an urgent need.

The intensive, five-day workshop for nonprofit and government grant seekers will guide participants step- by-step through all stages of planning programs, researching funding sources and writing proposals.

During the training program, participants will learn:

  • How to find funders that want to support your organization’s mission
  • The eight components of a winning grant proposal & how to create them
  • How to avoid pitfalls that can sabotage even experienced grant professionals
  • How to review and analyze grant proposals from the funder’s point of view

Participants will create and review real proposals in class while building a network of supportive colleagues.

Class size is limited to 24 participants. Tuition is $1,095. Register by July 20 to receive an early bird registration cost of $995. Half-scholarships are available for a limited number of qualified organizations. Register, get more information, or apply for a partial scholarship by contacting The Grantsmanship Center at www.tgci.com or registrar@tgci.com.

The textbook Program Planning & Proposal Writing is highly recommended and will be referenced during class. It can be purchased at the time of registration.
