Santa Fe Community College Announces Virtual Graduation Ceremony
For High School Equivalency (HSE) Graduates at 6 p.m. May 18

What: Virtual graduation ceremony for High School Equivalency (HSE) graduates.
Who: Keynote speaker New Mexico Adult Education Director Amber Rodriguez will address the graduates. SFCC Student Admission Counselor Daniela Gurule, HSE graduate, will share “Reflections & Possibilities.” Adult Education Director Letty Naranjo will welcome everyone to the ceremony. Adult Career Education Program Manager Kirsten Krell will introduce the Adult Education staff and faculty.
When: 6 p.m. May 18, 2021 (Please log in 10 minutes earlier.)
Where: The virtual ceremony will be livestreamed on SFCC’s YouTube channel at https://youtu.be/F8hENoHYPf4/.
Cost: Free and open to the public for viewing online on YouTube.
Of Note: SFCC’s Academic Career Education (ACE) classes prepare students for GED or HiSet exams – the exams recognized by the state of New Mexico for the High School Equivalency (HSE) credential. The SFCC ACE Program offers students classroom-based instruction in the four areas required for HSE exams – math, reading and writing, social studies, and science. The program helps students boost their academic skills to prepare them for college courses and certificate programs.
