Santa Fe Community College (SFCC) will host several upcoming events where community members can purchase handcrafted items and interact with artists. The Ceramics Club Sale from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. November 18 and 19 and the Glass Club sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. November 20 and 21 will showcase work by students in the Main Hallway on campus, 6400 Richards Avenue. SFCC’s fall semester culminates with the annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. December 7, which features a variety of regional arts and crafts in the Main Hallway and Campus Center on campus.
SFCC has a variety of student clubs such as the Ceramics Club and the Glass Club, which help foster interaction among student members and the community. Club activities are coordinated by the Office of Student Engagement and Recruitment. Art faculty serve as club advisors of the art clubs. The work presented is by both beginning and advanced students.
SFCC’s annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair is a decades-long tradition that offers artists and craftspeople the opportunity to sell their work directly to the public.
All the events are free and open to the public with free parking available at the main campus, 6401 Richards Avenue.

Ceramics Club Sale

Discover the fine work by talented student artists, purchase one-of-a-kind handcrafted gifts. Mainly selling functional ceramics (cup, plates, bowls, etc.), but also some sculpture work and traditional micaceous pottery. Bid on items in the Silent Auction. One hundred percent of the Ceramics Club Silent Auction proceeds benefit Campus Cupboard, the college’s food pantry that supports students and employees experiencing food insecurity. Free event. Glass Club Sale

Check out the creative glass work by skilled student artists. Spectacular functional and decorative pieces made by many advanced students, as well as beginners. The glass club is comprised of SFCC student artists who create work in a variety of methods, from fusing to casting, using creative contemporary methods. SFCC Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair

Go holiday shopping at the SFCC Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair. About 100 of New Mexico’s finest artists and craftspeople will showcase their work, including jewelry, pottery, paintings, woodcarvings, handmade ornaments, and more. Among the participants are artists from Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Taos, and various pueblos. Admission and parking are free, making it a perfect opportunity to find unique, handcrafted gifts for the holidays. Students will be selling coffee and pastries in the morning.
