Santa Fe Community College will host a free reading and reception to launch the 2016 edition of the Santa Fe Literary Review and to recognize the contributors. SFCC students and local, regional, national and international writers will read their work, and contributing artists and authors will sign copies of the Review. The event is free and refreshments will be served. The public is welcome to attend.
Thursday, October 20, 5-7 p.m. Contributor readings begin at 5:30 p.m.

Pick up a free copy of the Review at the SFCC Library and downtown at Starbucks locations, the Travel Bug, the Santa Fe Public Library, and most local coffee shops and schools.
Deadline December 1. SFLR invites mailed submissions of creative nonfiction, fiction and poetry. No more than 3,000 words of poetry and/or prose, please. Shorter submissions are encouraged. On the outer envelope, please indicate which editor you’re submitting to – Creative Nonfiction, Fiction, or Poetry Editor.

SFLR also invites emailed submissions of visual art – graphic novel excerpts, photographs,etc. There is no image limit for art. Please email high-resolution files, along with a short cover letter, to sflrartsubmissions@gmail.com. MISSED CONNECTIONS is this year’s suggested theme.
