New students must fill out and submit an orientation packet. New students must attend an orientation session. The sessions are scheduled for 5 to 9 p.m., Monday, May 14 or 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Friday, May 18. Registration for new students will take place at orientation.

Returning students, those who have enrolled in the program in the last 12 months, are required to take a placement test, which usually takes about one hour. The enrollment period for returning students is May 1 – 11.

The classes, which begin June 4, help students prepare for both state-approved tests – the GED and HiSet. Classes are offered at various times in the mornings, afternoons, evenings and Saturdays to fit students’ schedules.

A $25 fee covers all of the classes. Call the Adult Education office at 505-428-1356 (se habla Español) for more information.
