What: On National PTAC Day, September 15, New Mexico PTAC will present an Introduction to Government Contracting webinar from 9 to 11 a.m. If you are interested in registering, please go to NMPTAC.org and register at: https://nmsbdc.ecenterdirect.com/events/13240
Who: New Mexico PTAC (Procurement Technical Assistance Center) is housed at Santa Fe Community College, where its mission is to counsel, train and assist New Mexico business owners to obtain government contracts, thereby advancing economic growth in New Mexico. NMPTAC was started in New Mexico in 2009. It has six offices statewide with six advisors who share their expertise in government contracting and provide a wide range of services, including individual counseling and training on a variety of topics such as: how to register your business in government databases; research strategies for accessing state, federal and local government markets; how to market yourself to the government; how to effectively respond to an request for proposal (RFP); how to obtain federal set-aside certifications; and cybersecurity requirements.
