Santa Fe Community College announces that registration for classes to prepare for the High School Equivalency/GED tests is open now through March 10. Classes begin March 20 in Spanish and English. Call 505-428-1356 for more information.
New students must fill out and submit an orientation packet. Packets are available now at the Adult Education office on the SFCC campus, 6401 Richards Avenue, between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and until 5 p.m. Fridays.
The classes, which begin March 20, help students prepare for both state-approved tests – the GED and HiSet. Classes are offered at various times in the mornings, afternoons, evenings and Saturdays to fit students’ schedules.
In today’s challenging job market, earning a High School Equivalency certificate gives you the credential equivalent of a high school diploma and can open doors to future job opportunities and better pay. Academic and Career Education Coordinator of Adult Education Lynne Matthes said, “Don’t wait. Now is the time. Get your High School Equivalency and take charge of your future.”
