Fall 2022 Commencement Ceremony Moved to Spring 2023

To maximize engagement and keep the campus community as safe as possible during a particularly active cold, flu and COVID season, Santa Fe Community College will postpone its 2022 fall commencement ceremony – originally scheduled for Dec. 10, 2022. The ceremony will be combined with SFCC’s spring 2023 commencement ceremony, scheduled for 10 a.m. on May 13, 2023.

“We decided it was safest to combine this fall’s event with our spring ceremony, when it should be safer to gather in large numbers,” said SFCC President Becky Rowley, Ph.D. “We know some may be disappointed and we invite and encourage all fall SFCC graduates to participate in our spring ceremony, where you will be recognized and celebrated for your hard work and accomplishment.”

Unless separately noted, this postponement does not impact other SFCC events or regular college business or activities. More details on the Spring 2023 commencement ceremony are forthcoming.
