COVID Protocol update August 19

SFCC President Becky Rowley in an email on August 19 wrote about New Mexico’s indoor mask mandate and other state mandates. She stressed that SFCC is here for you and cares about your health, safety and well being. She noted the requirements to come onto campus. She stressed the importance of vaccines and noted the upcoming campus vaccine clinic on September 1. She also encouraged those who are vaccinated to get an SFCC Vax Pass.

Current requirements for coming to campus:

  • Wear a mask.
  • Practice social distancing of 6 feet.
  • Wash/sanitize your hands and workspaces frequently.
  • Avoid congregating in groups.
  • Avoid staying in public, indoor spaces for extended time periods.
  • Children allowed on campus must wear masks.

Departments, programs, and unique spaces may require special protocols or safety requirements. Appointments and online meetings are highly encouraged.
