7-2: Technology Equipment Renewal and Replacement – Procedures*

Every March OIT will develop a report of all equipment covered by Policy 7-2. This report will also include a report of the equipment meeting the replacement requirements within the Policy Statement. This list will be presented to the Technology Advisory Committee (TAC) in the April or May meeting.

In the event of limited funds OIT will provide a recommendation for replacement priorities. TAC may approve this list or make new recommendations. Upon approval of the recommendations the CIO will present this list to the Executive Team. OIT will include the cost in the upcoming year budget request.
