Yash Morimoto
Associate Vice President for Planning and Institutional Effectiveness

Yash Morimoto oversees the colleges’ strategic planning, institutional research, academic program reviews, learning assessments, accreditation and institutional review board functions.

Prior to joining the college in 2011, he worked at the New Mexico Higher Education Department providing data analysis and legislative policy reviews and where he also contributed to enhancing data sharing across the state’s college and university and K-12 public education systems. He is passionate about using data to inform decision-making and continuous quality improvement. Yash holds a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of New Mexico and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Earlham College.

Irrigation Repair

Santa Fe Community College will be repairing irrigation lines at the central roundabout (the drop-off area by the flag poles) Monday, April 23 through Monday, April 30. During repairs, the roundabout will not be accessible. Please use other entrances into the main and West Wing parking lots. No parking areas will be affected. Please use caution when walking or driving in the vicinity. Thank you for your patience while we make improvements to campus.
