Sandra received her RN as diploma graduate from Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing in 1981. She completed her RN/BSN from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences in 1987 and an MSN in Nursing Education from the University of Phoenix in 2008. In 2014 she received American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing. Professional practice areas include: public/community health nursing, acute care, long term care, staff education, quality improvement and community health nurse manager nursing positions.
Sandy entered full time academic nursing education to give back to the nursing profession and to help create the next generation of nurses.
