Nursing was a mid-life career change for Pauline Tither, following a long time interest in community-based care and public health, in nutrition, and in the prevention, control, and treatment of infectious diseases. Pauline received an associate’s degree in nursing from Montgomery College in Maryland, and MSN and DNP degrees from Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky. Pauline’s work experience includes caring for patients with active and latent tuberculosis, and working in primary care and women’s health at a community clinic. Her doctoral work focused on mosquito-borne diseases.
Pauline has always enjoyed teaching and seeing students succeed in their studies. She is delighted to have joined the faculty at SFCC in August 2015.
