Jason Goodyear is a composer, filmsound editor/mixer, recordist, performer, teacher, and Ableton Certified Trainer who has worked with music and sound for over 30 years. He has experience in a variety of fields including film and video, voiceover and podcast, studio recording, music composition and performance, and multimedia art installation and performance.
He has designed and taught classes covering topics such as filmsound, audio production and engineering, audio mixing and mastering, field recording, and the integration of software, streaming content, and hardware control into live performance. He holds a degree in anthropology and this study, particularly the practice of ethnographic interviewing, informs his creative work.
