Jack Sullivan is a registered professional engineer who has been president of a Santa Fe-based civil engineering firm for forty years. He was a Santa Fe County Commissioner from 2001 to 2008, serving twice as Chairman, and is a past president of the New Mexico Society of Professional Engineers. He earned his M.S.C.E. (Engineering-Economic Planning Option) from Stanford University, and B.C.E. from Georgia Tech. A long-time trumpeter with the Santa Fe Concert Band, Mr. Sullivan has also been a youth soccer coach and President of the New Mexico Youth Soccer Association. He is an Airborne-qualified Army veteran (Captain) and served in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam era.
*Under the provisions of the Learning Center Act [21-16A NMSA 1978], the members of the SFCC Governing Board also serve as members of the Learning Center District Board. The LC District Board is a separate entity responsible for overseeing Higher Education Center (HEC) operations and contracting with higher education institutions to offer accredited educational programs and services.
