Henry Mignardot joined SFCC in 2013. A native of Santa Fe, he holds a BSME degree from New Mexico State University, where he studied electro/mechanical engineering, power plant design and attended the NM Solar Energy Institute. Prior to joining SFCC, Henry worked at the State of New Mexico Higher Education Department, serving as Capital Projects Manager and Interim Institutional Finance Director where he maintained oversight authority for the state’s 32 public colleges and universities, managing finance, capital outlay and building project functions.
Henry is a practiced engineer with more than 25 years’ work experience in private industry, national laboratory, and federal and state governments. He served in technical and managerial capacities while working at Los Alamos National Laboratory achieving several performance awards and a U.S. Henry’s other responsibilities at LANL included managing large complex projects in a classified and secured environment. He has extensive experience working and consulting on facilities and construction management issues in the U.S. and Europe.
As Executive Director of Plant Operations and Maintenance, Henry is responsible for the college’s legislative capital outlay, new construction, plant operations and services, maintenance and security.
