Ben Cichowski is the Director of the Energy Smart Academy, Department of Continuing Education and Workforce Development. He’s a seasoned instructor, teaching topics ranging from building science, to biology, to engineering, and environmental health and safety. Ben has earned his place in the world of building science and energy efficiency by spearheading projects that have placed the important professionals doing this work directly in the public eye. He’s a champion of the trades and a strong advocate for students moving along that path. Ben holds a master’s degree in civil/environmental engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station and undergraduate degrees in biological aspects of conservation and zoology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
