About the department

Our department offers students the opportunity to acquire skills in cross-cultural communication and quick decision making during instant translation. The curriculum includes ASL language​, immersive interaction, and real-life orientation. In addition, students may complement their studies in SPAN 1120, 1125, 2110, 2120, PORT and FREN with FREE, non-credit access to the Rosetta Stone language program during the semester.
