Mission

The mission of the Facilities and Operations Office is to insure a safe, clean, healthy work environment throughout the entire campus for all students, staff, faculty and the general public. We are here to provide assistance in the most friendly and responsive manner possible.

Vision

Our vision is to support and maintain a beautiful college campus for the entire community to be proud of. One of our most important goals is to continue to apply knowledge and skills to be part of the fast-growing green campus operations. We are committed to provide the highest quality operations and services while serving as a strategic partner with the college community to meet the vision and mission of SFCC.

SFCC architectural and project management staff is comprised of 3 core members who are skilled in design, architectural projects, renovations, budget analysis, furniture, moving, and construction project management. In addition the staff coordinates architectural projects with structural, mechanical, electrical, civil engineers, and architects including LEED and other consultants. The office staff initiates all required capital project reports for submission by college administration of state and other funding including Higher Education Department project transmittals. SFCC staff ensures that all designs, architectural projects and renovations are in accordance with international and local codes!

SFCC maintenance staff is 8 core members who are skilled in AC, plumbing, electrical, locksmithing, painting, office configuration, wastewater management and facilities maintenance. We have our own wastewater treatment plant here on campus and all of our domestic water is recycled.

Our custodial staff is 24 members 13 day shift and 11 evening shift. They maintain the interior of our campus

SFCC Grounds Staff is 3 core members with an additional 5 plus occasional members during peak season. Along with maintaining the grounds they maintain the parking lots and roadways along with heading up the snow removal process. You may occasionally notice irrigation when it’s raining; this is done to maintain proper levels in the ponds.
