About Student Leadership

Our student leadership class is a great training ground for those students who want to become community leaders. The class is an introduction to theories and skills of practicing collaborative leadership in a multicultural environment. Focus is on the applied practice of leadership using project-based learning through Santa Fe Community College Student Government Association or through other leadership groups. Students will develop skills in active listening, self-confidence, conflict resolution, public speaking, community service, group facilitation, teamwork, advocacy, self-marketing and promotion. May be taken for up to six credit hours toward an associate degree or Certificate in Leadership.

SFCC & HEC Closed Due to Weather: Saturday, Feb. 23

Based on the road conditions and forecasts regarding weather in our area, SFCC and the Santa Fe Higher Education Center will be closed on Saturday, Feb. 23. No on or off campus classes or activities will be held, and no labs or other student services will be available. TAX-AIDE at the HEC will not be available.
