About Student Leadership

Our student leadership class is a great training ground for those students who want to become community leaders. The class is an introduction to theories and skills of practicing collaborative leadership in a multicultural environment. Focus is on the applied practice of leadership using project-based learning through Santa Fe Community College Student Government Association or through other leadership groups. Students will develop skills in active listening, self-confidence, conflict resolution, public speaking, community service, group facilitation, teamwork, advocacy, self-marketing and promotion. May be taken for up to six credit hours toward an associate degree or Certificate in Leadership.

Irrigation Repair

Santa Fe Community College will be repairing irrigation lines at the central roundabout (the drop-off area by the flag poles) Monday, April 23 through Monday, April 30. During repairs, the roundabout will not be accessible. Please use other entrances into the main and West Wing parking lots. No parking areas will be affected. Please use caution when walking or driving in the vicinity. Thank you for your patience while we make improvements to campus.
